Josias Figueirido is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice blends painting, digital technology, animation, and storytelling to create immersive fictional worlds that explore themes of migration, belonging, friendship, and community. Through his ongoing narrative universe of Piri the Dreamer and Flying Coyote, Figueirido creates a fantastical ecosystem of curious characters and hybrid beings inspired by his personal experiences and reflections on life at the Mexico-U.S. border.S. border.
